This is common with sheep. Raised one while I was growing up and every time he got excited he'd jump - guess that's why I named him 'Jumper.' (smile) More common in lambs, but adults do this when they are excited/happy.

When I see a sheep or a goat jump like this, these are the moments when my heart stops for a while and engrave the picture of expression of joy and excitement in my brain and heart. Your photo brings back these feelings of shameless expression of feelings into my memory. Thanks for this.

Very good photo with a lot of force in the middle the early morning light (?). As always the scene is created by very small elements of compositions. In my eyes, if the sheep to the extreme right had not turned its head the scene would be significantly less good.
