This image had improved dramatically simply by including rocks in the immediate foreground. Not only does foreground interest help to create a strong feeling of depth and scale, which is vitally important, but it also tightens-up the whole composition by pulling together the different elements in the scene, and provides an obvious entry point into the shot - the bottom is a natural place for the eye to start with conventional picture formats. Just love it. :0)
