Very nice. I also like the dab of color from the wild flowers. I too went to the Badlands a few years back, they remind me of a baby grand canyon in a way. It is good to see them again! Take care

Precious capture with this beauty. Excellent exposure and details, perfect timing!

An excellent capture - very well done. The colors are muted and the Badland's resident seems to just blend right in. What makes a difference for me - like icing on the cake - is the little red and black berries - much like an artist with a paintbrush putting a few daubs here and there on the canvas to give some visual contrast. For some reason that I can't explain, I want to flip this image horizontally and my logical brain cannot explain it. Have a great day,

 

PS I went to the Canadian badlands (just east of Alberta) many years ago but I don't think I have any photos worthwhile sharing. Someone did sell me dinosaur bone fragments (I wonder).
