Washington Monument, Washington, DC

I was shooting the FDR Memorial yesterday ... it had been a very cloudy morning. Then the clouds started to blow away, and I noticed that the mists were sitting on the top of the Washington Monument. I thought it looked cool, and used my wide angle to catch both the clouds and the blue.

Is the tilt of the Monument from the wide angle too weird? Is the sky interesting enough? Any other thoughts?

Or does this straightened, square cropped shot work better?
