I like the seeming anguish portrayed here. Too bad the hand hides the face. Good try though!

I think the hand hiding the face is very poignant - what do we read into this gesture - embarrassment at having her face seen? Despair? Boredom? Wiping away tears? It's reminiscent of photos of the ghettos - how depressing that it's modern! It's a great candid and the mono is perfect.

this is a very nice and poignant street scenes, I like very much your street scenes and city life photos.

 

This one makes me wonder, is the child sick and the mother troubled with the sickness of her kid as she is puting her hand in front of her face?

Or is the kid sleeping and the mother not wanting to show her face?

 

A nice photo that makes our mind wonder what is hapening here.
