Nice shot!! Where did you take the shot? I'm in Salem, I have a few shots from the area also in my port, some recent from Meremac Srpings.

 

Nice framing, myself though, I would have extended the exposure a little longer for the water's movement. Still a nice shot all the same.

Nice capture, Like the way the low tones of the surrounding trees focus the eyes on the stream. Guess we are all different, I like to see detail in flowing water. Regards-Ross

Thanks for the comment. I took this on my first shoot and unfortunately I didn't own a tripod yet. I like the moving water look as well. Maybe nest time I am in the mountains :-)

I really like shots like that, you have a similar one using tracks. Nice work!

Also I wouldn't worry about using tripod, unless you taking portraits. My mom is much better photographer then I am. I asked to borrow her tripod ones, and she replied, if I know how to take pictures, if I do, I dont need tripod. All my photos are taken without one.

Also thank you for your suggestions on one my photos, it was very helpful.
