paullink 1 Posted January 18, 2008 The foreground , the main theme and the background are really a remedy for the eyes.Excellent work Amy. Link to comment
snapshooter 0 Posted January 21, 2008 This is my favourite in this series, Amy. As always, I like the softness of your presentation. Think I'd like to have seen more detail in the whites of the lower-central image but it's a nice impressionistic piece. Link to comment

snapshooter 0 Posted January 23, 2008 Hi Amy. I can't say it was constructive criticism as it may very well be the way you wanted it using blur techniques. It's just that I found so much more detail which added more visual depth (for me). The HDR process recovered much more of the original tonal range but you may very well have decided you preferred it as submitted. It wasn't that I didn't like your approach. I was just curious as to what caused the entire central foreground area to be so much hotter (whiter) than the outer stalks on both borders. I wondered if you could still apply the same effects retaining the tonal range, or if you simply didn't like it that way. This attachment somewhat exaggerates but does show more of the original tonal range and detail. Link to comment
