gordonjb 10,860 Posted January 19, 2008 A wonderful image. You have captured the true feel of lovers out in the rain. The softness imbued by the water on the glass adds a dream like quality to the image. The B&W has lots of rich tones although IMO it could use a very small touch more white in the palette. There are a couple of small white spots which I would be inclined to clone out particularly the one on the edge of the right hand persons hood. Great mood and atmosphere. Link to comment
andrea-de-bonis 6 Posted January 19, 2008 thaks gordon for the interesting opinion. i have, it's true, some doubts about this bw, i tryied with more whites, but the problem is that there are no pure whites at all, so i have to touch the grey. or select something, as the arch, and work on this. I tryed many possibilities, but im not complitely satysfied. i will try your suggestion, too. or better, i have to wash the glass of my car........... Link to comment

LindaM 2 Posted May 3, 2008 Andrea, thank you for your nice comment on my Jazz Fest image. your comment attracted me to come see your work. i like this very much. the rain on your windshield makes a very nice filter for this shot. much more interesting than if the glass had been wiped clean. diego bardone 0 Posted November 2, 2008 Beh Andrea...This is a hell of a shot: it is so sweet and with a perfect composition. You spoke about lucky chances and I have to agree with you but really if you are not in the right place at the right time, you won't ever have a chance to get a shot like this...Stunning is enough?? Braaaaaaaaaavissssssimo :-) Ciao!! Link to comment

mauroni 0 Posted November 7, 2008 Hi Andrea, interesting contest. I will associate with my friend Diego to have a chance to win. Putting this "menace" aside, let me express my gretest compliments for this wonderful shot. Of course it all true what one can say about to be lucky, to be in the right place at the right moment and so on, but I have to apply to this image the same criterion I used for the Giuseppe Pasquali's "penitent": if I had been there (the right place) with you (in the right moment) my first thought would probably have been: "what a stupid teenager's couple that run under the rain without any umbrella!". On the contrary you shoot and this is what makes a great photographer. Mauro Link to comment

trisha jean-angela 5 Posted November 26, 2011 A wonderful image rich with atmosphere and romance. I particularly like the waterspots throughout adding to the blur in this scene. Very well done, great capture! Thank you for sharing. :) Link to comment
