In November and December I traveled in Namibia for a photo book I'm

working on, and to make final arrangements for the photo trip I'm

leading there in May this year.

One of the places we'll visit is an old and deserted diamond mining

town near the Namibian coast. The dunes are slowly claiming back their

territory, covering this little town with sand. The result is a very

surreal and eery place, but stunningly beautiful.

Wonderful, wonderful image. At first I just assumed it was a photoshop image (and it would work fine as such), but knowing that it is real blows my mind. Perfect composition and light. Fascinating textures. Wonderfully done. Dan

I would like to thank you for the comment you wrote with the photo. It is stunningly beautiful as you say. I have always been a big fan of honest shots. And this is one of the best honest photos I have seen! I was clad to see that it is unmanipulated. Really perfect. I would hang it on the wall!
