any ideas why the track changes?

This is probably one of your best. Tones are better than most other shots I found from your death valley series. Contrast and composition are great. I wish the cloud on the top right was not chopped off (unless it was much bigger) and secondly the left side mountain shadow seems almost black . Since it is a sidelit photo, I would rather show some details in that shadow. Otherwise this is great.

Hi, I was scrolling through the recent listings after putting up my first one up for critique when your's caught my attention. I love shades of tan, I wish I had this backdrop on my dry lake. Nice low angle perspective and contrast, is this the race track? I used to be a ranger in Death Valley. Rick
