I love this, I love her, the bird the fence, the fearlessness of her climbing the fence.....the lighting is beautiful, and then there's the sky. Beautiful shot.

This image should rate as the classic for children's photos. It is beautifully captured, and lovingly wrought. She looks exactly like my second child - all tousled and adventuresome, and a joy to watch. Thank you for posting this - I'll have to go Bookmark it now...

Very beautiful image. I don't know if any retouching went on here, but regardless, it's a very dramatic photo. Superb catch of lighting and pose.

I think this is a great image and very nicely done. The only element that needs some additional work, IMO, is the quail; it's a bit washed out and lacking the depth of color present in the rest of the image, and I know these birds are strongly colorful.

dreamy scene

This is a timeless classic Dave, the lighting is superb, the storyline and subject matter excellent, the processing for drama couldn't be any better, and it absolutely tugs at my heart strings. And the quail is the frosting on the cake. This should be the kind of creative photo we all aspire to.

Well, took me an hour to arrive... and rightly so, it can be a book cover for a legendary children story, where behind the gate there is a stormy realem... magic light ans scene.

Stunning light and composition, the pigeon gives it a surreal feeling and the little girl facing the stormy sky makes me feel very small too!
