The Monks View #2

This is the view you can enjoy from St. Peter's Church in

Portovenere, Liguria, Italy. There's something that we can say for

sure about the monks: they always had a very good eye in choosing the

places for their monasteries... Due to the richness of details here,

this is much better when viewed larger.

A truly remarkable image. To be perfectly honest I prefer this to the one posted yesterday. Excellent detail, exposure, colour and composition. One can only imagine the peacefulness one felt living in this place. A sincere 'Well Done'.

This is awesome! I love it. The softness around the stone work where the light hits it. The Saphire blue behind the stone.

Its magical and almost reminds me of the video game Assassin's Creed....thats a good thing :)
