There is a self-guided walking tour in Boston called the Freedom Trail (http://www.thefreedomtrail.org/). It is marked with this design in the pavement/sidewalks that you see in the foreground here. I thought it was fun that the Freedom Trail leads to ...... free stuff. :-)

Photographically ... this was tough to post-process because the scene is on a bit of a hill, so the display cases and the post look like they're leaning.

What are your thoughts about this image?

This is great, Lou Ann. It has been a joy to watch you develop as a photographer right here on Photo.net.

It might be interesting to see how it would work with a tighter crop at the top, just above all the "Free" signs, or at the very top of the gray "column" in the middle.

Perfect title Lou Ann, the trail to "free"dom often winds up costing me plenty for something I don't really need or want but couldn't resist. Great subject for a B&W conversion, I'm so glad to see a renaissance in that medium, the last 5 photos of the week here on PN have been B&W. Lots of nice graphic elements working here......free, free, free, free....
