A series of images. An interpration of a dance called "Alma"( an apple in the turkish language). My focused experience is of the symbolic bible story of the forbidden apple, with some added connotations...

Dancers: Shany Katzman, Yoave Grinberg. Choreography: Rachel Erdos

Thanks for your impressions.

This captured the whole story. Temptation, decision (the tension in her foot), Eden (the color), and the fall (the B&W). This story resonates into archetypal places in the Judeo-Christian conscious and beyond. Nicely done.

All of you!

Jeff and Donna, you both are following the series. So Jeff, your comment hit the nail.

Donna , Fred's ,Jeff's and your comments in Temptation ( n1) are giving the series all the nuances I thought about, and even more, thanks for that.

Avner, if you have the time look at the series as a whole( to be continued... ;-)) I think you will connect to my intentions.

Armindo and michael,Thanks for liking the concept and commenting.

powerful series Pnina! dance is such a moving art form, and you are so good at capturing it. i can only imagine that this dance is a stunning performance. this image can stand alone. Jeff does sum it up very well, and i knew immediately before reading any explanation what this was about.

My dear Pnina - this is just a fantastic shot. I had to "digest" it before commenting. Your focusing on the apples by giving it color is a creative and smart decision. This symbol of temptation is nicely framed by the two pair of legs. It leaves a lot to the imagination. Is Eve whispering into Adam's ears? is she kissing him? are they hugging each other? He looks passive but it could be the other way around.

All of you.!for your feedback and impressions.

Adan, yes , this image is an analogy, and is connected to the series by hinting that not all in the story and in our real life is black or white....there are so many in between .....

Pnina, superb composition. Feet also tend to be neglected and here they are wonderfully rendered. I particularly like the reflections.

... interesting, but I had never thought of the apple in the garden being a green varietal, always red. Not sure if that means anything, but my first thought was to paint one of them red. That one being the forbidden fruit.
