aepelbacher 0 Posted January 9, 2008 This bridge is really COOL! I know that I have posted a previous image of it, but was going through my Boston shots, and wanted to put this one up, too. There are two sections with the wires like this. As we hiked around in downtown Boston, we found a spot where we could walk almost under the bridge. Sarah says that it is a relatively new bridge, and has been widely photographed, even by folks on photo.net. So, I'll join the masses and add my own shot of this great looking bridge. As usual, any thoughts, comments, or ratings are greatly appreciated! If you want to read more about the bridge, you can go here or here. Enjoy! Link to comment
Charles_Webster 226 Posted January 9, 2008 Nice! I like the strong diagonal composition and the strong contrasts in color and texture. It looks a bit over-processed in places but not extremely so. Nice work, I would be proud to have taken this picture. Link to comment
amani al_sammani 0 Posted January 9, 2008 nice composition.. perfect angle, and beautiful contrast between smooth steel and bulk cocrete with clear background . its look like "dancing of wires" Link to comment

cherlyn 1 Posted January 9, 2008 This is very good, Lou Ann. Love the cross anlges of lines in simple colour tones, & they looks great against the blie sky & touch of soft clouds. Link to comment

susan stone 0 Posted January 10, 2008 It's not often I find a bridge shot interesting but this one is way cool! I like the pure abstract and graphic nature of all the lines, good colors too. I still don't understand how planes stay in the air and bridges don't fall down, they both make me nervous. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted January 10, 2008 But I'll bet that the people who DO understand how airplanes stay in the sky and that know why the bridges don't fall down would not be able to understand the quiet beauty of sitting on a horse all day rounding cattle. Everyone's got a gift ... and you know that I often envy how right you are for yours, Susan! Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted January 10, 2008 I like the geometry you captured here. Very effective crop. Link to comment
lbattjes 0 Posted January 10, 2008 Oooh, glad to see you posted this one, I remember the other and loved it as well. Simple compositions using lines and light are always so intriguing, and this one shows it very well. Do you have a third? This would look great printed large and hanging with the other and one more. What a cool grouping that would be...very classy and modern and sleek...bet a business in Boston would love it in their reception area! Just a thought! :) Leslie Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted January 10, 2008 A third? I have about 15. :-) You're right - I should post another ... and then consider them a set. Great idea, Leslie - thanks! Link to comment
