Every time I see a funky MiniCooper, I try to find some interesting way to shoot it. (Because I'll probably never actually own one...) :-) How did I do this time? Are the reflections of the brick sidewalk distracting? Any other thoughts?

I have an 03 Mini Cooper S, and it is INCREDIBLE. I love your shot, the

reflection is perfect, and love the British Flag mirror caps...

Great shot!!

the reflections of the brick make this shot for me! i would crop it square though - not a surprise since i crop most images square... :-)

Thanks to both of you!

Will - thanks for the inclusion of your baby. (sigh...) Someday a convertible Mini for Lou Ann. In the meantime, I like the shine from the light. Nice!

Linda - OOooh! I like the square crop. It totally works!! Thanks!

I was attracted to this as I took a similar shot not so long ago. I didn't think my shot was worth uploading. Being honest, I really don't think this is either. It lacks drama and imagination.

Thanks for your honesty, David - I think that as you were commenting here I was looking at some of your latest stuff. I respect your work and your talent, therefore I will always respect your input on my images. Thank you!

hmm... drama? I don't know what drama this type of picture has to do with, but I do like this shot. For me the reflections of brick pavement adds more to this image (with the car's retro look although it isn't seen much here).

Thanks for taking my critique with the spirit it was intended. I guess I should have offered an opinion on how I think it would be better. The shot comes across as a snap of something 'as you found it' rather than trying to compose it to make it look more interesting. I hope you get my meaning.
