Pnina, I can always expect a thoughtful comment from you. The white birches were the center of interest here and the path just seemed to lead the eye right to them. It was an enjoyable day & I'm now looking forward to the winter version. It's snowing today so I might get my chance very soon. It's only as far away as your computer screen. :-) Best, LM.

Jim, Originally, on first edit, I rejected this one but on second inspection found that I quite liked it for the reasons you gave. Turns out last autumn was really good for colours around here. Thanks for responding. Best, LM.
