I really liked how this old building looked behind the remnants of some sort of bridge (probably a railroad bridge). I left it in color (instead of B&W) because of the green daymarks. What are your thoughts?

Well done. The Erie Canal is a wonderful photo subject but very few photograph it during the winter. Keep up the good work.

The Erie Canal is great to shoot during the winter because it forms ice sooner than many of the near-by fast-moving creeks and rivers.  The problem is that I don't live nearby any longer, and if I go to visit during the holidays, I don't usually drive around looking for photo ops.
