Thousands of Vietnamese took to the streets in Saigon in May 1966 to

call for an end to U.S. involvement in the war. Their pleas,

obviously, were ignored. Comments and critiques are always welcomed.

Hi, Bill- I am a Nam era vet, but never got to Nam, govt had me in Germany for 3 years instead. Difficult era for a vet no matter where he served, it did not make any difference to the home front where you served. Lots of anamosity towards the uniformed men and women. This picture says it all as far as I am concerned. The only difference between Nam and today is at least our men and women are treated with respect when they come back! God Bless them!
