Mark Keefer 4,736 Posted January 8, 2008 When I was setting up for this photo, I thought the street lights were going to take away from the photo. I didn't expect the photo would turn out like this. Seeing the result, I think the star bursts of the lights make the photo more interesting. The lesson I learned here is take the shot, you never know what the end result will be and you may pass up that diamond in the rough by thinking that won't make a good location. It was pouring rain when I drove into the city. I thought I might get some interesting reflections off the streets, the rain stopped and I found this corner with what I thought was just an OK shot. A homeless guy came up to me, "Hey are you taking photos?" "Yeah" I said, I gave him ten dollars to get something to eat. It was an interesting night, my photo shoot adventure. I think I did get a couple of nice shots. Any thoughts or comments are appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to look. - Mark Link to comment
