Flowers in her hair

Very sensitive image. I love the way the light catches the flowers but also the drape of her dress. Her glance makes the shot, as does the woman almost echoing her in the background. This has great ambiance.

Funny, I wrote you a comment, on this one that I like, and it has disappeared probably while the crush that occured at the net recently.

 

She has a very delicate beauty, separeated from her BG people , being in her own thoughts. very airy execution in B/W Douglas, beautifully done.

Thanks Pnina, This was one of those shots where I had a second to shoot it to capture the expression and that she was alone for a moment (She was with her family at a Hindu temple in southern India and they were mostly huddled together). The resulting picture was not good but I knew a nice picture was hiding in there. It took some photoshop work to bring it to this state.
