end to the war; it took a while for the message to get through.

I like the picture. & I like the angle & composition. I was probably in study hall in a nice safe high school when you took this photo. We ovbviously didn't take the hint.

What a mess that was. I can remember when I was even younger watching the 6 o'clock news & also seeing in magazines, the monks soaking themselves with gasoline & lighting themselves in protest. I was horrified. I think it's an outstanding documentary photo.
