Peter, From a technical standpoint the photo is excellant. By this I mean- exposure, white balance, focus (DOF) are all fine. Now to the questions? What are you trying to communicate? Very good documentary photo of the area- Yes. A fine artsitic image? No. Only you will know what you had in mind when you set up the camera here and made the adjustments to get this shot. Should you crop the top more to get rid of all the blue? Not sure. I would guess no since it would change the perspective of distance and size. If you are happy then we should be happy with it. Again we can all see that you know how to use your camera. Creative shot, this one is rather standard. Good Luck!

 

thanks to your honest opinion. You're right, this is by no means a creative photograph. It's really rather documentary and so it should be. It is a nice memory of the place I once visited. Best, Peter
