kellyphillips 0 Posted January 4, 2008 Hi. You have a nice photo here, but it could use just a bit of work. The bright white snow has fooled you exposure meter in your camera. The snow has turned out underexposed a bit looking grey instead of white. You can add a stop or so in exposure comp when you photograph snow and it should be ok. Also, the composition works as it is, but I kind of feel like you have 2 pictures here. In my version, I put the bench on the edge so the eye can decide where the focus is. As shot, I can't decide if I should look at the playground behind the bench or the bench and the nice open landscape and sky in front of the bench. Just some thoughts, hope you don't mind. rekaras 0 Posted January 7, 2008 Thanks for your recommendations. I like your ideas. It was quite a bit before sunrise when I photographed the scene so the snow was not a bright white as there was very little light but I like the brighter snow and your placement of the bench although it does limit the scope and feel of the barreness of the winter scene. I appreciate your comments and ideas. rek Link to comment
