Guest Guest Posted January 2, 2008 This is beautiful! I would maybe bump the contrast a little just to make it pop, and I would like to see it totally in b&w. The red is a little distracting to me. Link to comment
paul heskes 0 Posted January 2, 2008 A lovely winter scene Floriana, but my eye can't help being dragged up to the slightly messy and wasted space on the top of the image. I would consider framing it better by cropping the top down to where the branches of the trees on the left and right meet in the middle. Try scrolling down to hide the top part of the frame and it will give you some idea.Hope you don't mind my inputRegardsPaul Link to comment

BelaMolnar 2 Posted January 2, 2008 I do not wanted to give a comment to this image, but reeding adhere comments I can't help to do so. I like to high light, DO NOT CROP THE IMAGE. It is perfect and balanced well. The top part is a counter balance for the bottom part, and the persons is high lighting the whole composition perfectly! It is not messy at all. without it the image is loosing the story. My opinion is, the image is perfect as it is. Cheers; Bela Link to comment
tomaso nigris 0 Posted January 3, 2008 Floriana you have a great , beatiful portfolio, IMO this photo should be cropped on the top because the subject are the two persons and the top is very distracting. It's just my opinion. Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted January 6, 2008 Very beautiful composition. Just, if you could make the snow whiter in the foreground. I find it a bit too grey. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted January 6, 2008 Floriana, it is a very nice winter image. I see a difference of opinions about cropping the upper part... I don't see what good it will do as it will ruin the ballance of the image ,and the nice way the trees are "framing" the human figures. very nice points of accentuation in all the white area are both humans, and the red point in the child's coat. I like as well the snow texture on the vegetation. Link to comment
