myattphotoandfotoart39 1 Posted May 2, 2008 I am trying to understand. Is it a split tone feature in photoshop that gives you this affect? If so I think I do not have in the elements version. Link to comment
jbidarra 0 Posted May 2, 2008 It's a set of pre-recorded actions for Photoshop, sold by a (I presume) a small companie called 1-click actions. They have several toning and splitone actions, that I use a lot. This one is a splitone for Warm tones in the shadows, Cold tones in the Highlights. I am not sure if actions work on Elements. myattphotoandfotoart39 1 Posted May 3, 2008 I looks like sepia tone which I have occasionally used in the dark room. Link to comment
mark_starr 0 Posted June 30, 2008 Wow- this is a beautiful portrait! I think these portraits - those of our families, become some of the most important images that we can make, and when they are done to this standard one can be assured that they will remain important long after we are gone. This particular image reminds me of the old masters paintings, both for the quality of light within the image as well as for the capturing of the character of the sitter. The tones are gorgeous, and I love the downward tilt of her head with the upward glance of her eyes- a most wonderful portrait, and one that I am sure she and your family will treasure forever. 7/7 does not do it justice!
