Shooting stars, Marble Mountain Wilderness Taken in July 19999, during a 7-day backpacking trip. This is the southwestern shore of Shadow Lake, which overlooks one of the most heavily visited (and abused by cattle grazing) basins in the wilderness. This lake, however, is relatively inaccessible. For three days, we had it to ourselves.
