new_zealand_landscapes 0 Posted January 3, 2008 Shane, This is the way a Scanning back will capture the image, it scanned from right to left and the waves move from left to right. The waves get squeezed by the action of the scanner. The original is 7000 pixals wide, the scanner has effectively made 7000 images in lines x3 for red green and Blue. The Better light site goes into detail on the subject it www.betterlight.com.Thanks for the comments. If any one out there wants to donate a new Scanning back,It will be greatfully excepted. Link to comment
sketch_tbhotmail.com 11 Posted January 4, 2008 If only I had the money John, if only I had the money... This is a fantastic shot regardless of the way your back captured it. I actually think it adds to the originality of the image. Very well done. Ryan Link to comment
soonerpa 0 Posted January 24, 2008 Thank you for explaining the wave "look". Ill admit, I cant quite get my perspective right here. This is the coast and not a waterfall, right? Its a mesmerizing photo. Thanks for sharing! Link to comment
