Nice composition, and beautiful colors. The ducks were cooperative and created an extra layer ;-)

The high horizon makes it more obvious: the slight horizon slant

Happy New Year !

Carsten, And a Happy New Year to you as well. How embarrassing, to be called on the very element that I most frequently chastise others for, tilted horizons. I swear it was level when I posted it,.........hey, wait a minute, is that a pencil lodged under the right hand side of my monitor? No wonder it's off level. :-) Actually, now that I'm taking more time, the navigation beacon tower looks left tilted too. If I print it I promise to make it level. Still, a favourite from my autumn outings. Thanks for your input. Looking forward to more. Best, LM.

Tilt or not, it's still a very nice shot. A gentle scene and delicate colours combine to produce a very satisfying image.

I like the subject matter of this photograph. There's something to see in each part of the picture. Wild grasses. Ducks. (What is the vertical structure just beyond the ducks?) And what appears to be a natural break-water in the distance. Nice light, too.

Bill, Thanks for the comments. The vertical structure, I believe, is some sort of navigational beacon. Wouldn't want any full sized Great Lakes Ships to wander into the shallow waters this side of the breakwater (Georgian Bay beyond breakwater). Best, LM.
