RickDB 10 Posted December 29, 2007 Almost missed this shot as we cut steps in the ice, one minute later and it had glided silently out of sight. The Europa was built in 1909 (you may have seen it in film "Master and Commander"). In B&W it could be taken for one the turn of the century explorers. Link to comment

RickDB 10 Posted November 6, 2008 ...I bought my first digital SLR for this trip - and I was really amazed with the quality of the pictures. Fortunately I had the good sense to shoot RAW (+ jpeg) and have "developed" this several times as my PS skills have improved. Now I have a framed 13"x19" print of this one on my wall, a great reminder of a trip of a lifetime. Cheers! RickDB Link to comment
