pnital 36 Posted January 6, 2008 Interesting composition Dan, very unusual rocks formation which the light is enhancing its shadows and texture, a bit smooth and other parts rough and striated. I like your title a lot because it connects me to the small lonely tree that despite the rough surrounding found some place to deploy its roots, and evokes a connotation of personification of human situation....Thanks for your bio as well. siyeouki 0 Posted January 13, 2008 Beautiful picture, and nice title too. Reminds me of Wynn Bullock and Minor White. Great work. Link to comment
danbliss 0 Posted January 15, 2008 Andrew, Pnina and Maxime, thank you for you kind words. Andrew, I think it is the texture that makes it work. Pnina, the photo was just one part of a huge wall of rock. I think the tree works as a point of interest, and the connection to the human situation was a conscious one. Maxime, thank for your all too kind comparison. Thanks again, Dan Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted December 24, 2008 I like the texture on the rocks. I like the separation of the 3 sections in the rock formation. Link to comment
