jeffrypittman 5 Posted December 25, 2007 Which is better version A or B? Version B has blown out highlights, but the statue is nicely lit and the sun gives the image some impact. What do you think? Thanks for your feedback. Link to comment
shots worth sharing 1 Posted December 25, 2007 B. True, A avoids the blow out but at the cost of all interest. Link to comment
GerrySiegel 868 Posted December 25, 2007 Version A is definitely more appealing at least to me. The bronze replica statue ought to look like aged bronze with a few specular highlights,so A is better I say. Diana the huntress shold e seen in these kind of Greco Roman surroundings, so it is fine to show the background as properly exposed. Of course, the lower figure, the hunting hound is almost indistinguishable. I am sure you can correct that by carefull fine tuning. You want the hound to be separated from Diana. So would the Greeks I suppose. Not a bad shot at all.Lucky to get no people around at the Huntington,. gs Link to comment
johannes_go 0 Posted December 25, 2007 I prefer A, has details in most of the area. For the statue, could do a correction to reduce the shadow. Link to comment
