like the concept. but some of the highlights are blown out and the image could have been sharper.

...only in slow speed. The smoke seems to be drying and hardening his expression into a piece of leather, and those eyes look like metal rivets no longer alive. This is a very "sharp" photo, not in terms of "digital sharpening" but in terms of the physical sensation it creates.
