ken_thalheimer 3,739 Posted December 22, 2007 Nicely done portrait Tore, with just the right amount of fill flash to throw in some highlights. I get the feeling though there is too much coat. The entire center of interest is her face & hand. I like the pose also Link to comment
tore 10 Posted December 22, 2007 I think you right, maybe I should try to crop it a bit. Happy hollydays :) Cheers Tore Link to comment
ken_thalheimer 3,739 Posted December 22, 2007 Merry Christmas. I tried a quick crop before I left the previous comment. It really makes her stand out much stronger -Ken Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted December 22, 2007 Tjenare,The skin treatment is excellent now but I agree with Ken that the key area, the face is quite small of the whole. A tighter crop certainly helps. I wonder - the lights seems to be flatter on her face than around the face which makes me think about the postprocessing ... I think I'd try to shallow the dark end contrast a bit on the scarf and the hairs around her face ... then again ... it's quite good as it is.God Jul och lyckligt nytt ar,- Juha Link to comment
tore 10 Posted December 22, 2007 Tjenare Juha :) Thanks for your suggestions, I have not done the post process of this series yet so I will keep it in mind when I do it. Merry Christmas and happy new year :) Cheers Tore Link to comment
John Peri 1,029 Posted December 22, 2007 What a pleasure always to open this page. Perfectly treated images with a profound respect for the subject photographed. I will always treasure your precious advice on sharpness and how to reach it, but I will never attain this level. I guess I will first have to learn how to hold the camera still ! A wonderful Christmas and New Year to you and your family, John Link to comment
