Mike Marcotte 50,320 Posted December 29, 2007 I really like this picture, that's a great expression. Now for some reason I have a taste for some orange sherbert. Link to comment
olafdevries 0 Posted December 29, 2007 For me the big surprise was the orange and the total. The coming out, the exploding color and the very suitable background! Haha.., the expression was free! Thought this scene even in France rare. About the amount of orange in your aria, you probably will have an under-kill! :) Thanks for reacting, we do have something in common! Link to comment
cliverapier 0 Posted April 4, 2008 This picture has THE grab me factor. I really like the photo. But can I make some boring notes...:) The face of the subject is not as well focused at it could be. For example, the white of the left eye could be more pronounced. This picture has tremendous potential, for all lovers of the colour orange. I still think it is so ingenious, that I am going to give it a 6/6. Cheers :) Link to comment
olafdevries 0 Posted April 4, 2008 For me the orange bombing was the most important, next to the skin-color. My subjective memory even does tell me the orange was much stronger. Not postprocessing at all, for me it's partial lying, i probably could have added a fraction more contrast. Think her face OK. I think we photographers should shoot more "impressionistic" instead of worrying about "cosmetic" details. Focussing can partial be a futility. I see too few spontaneity. We are no slaves of technique. Think of the work of painters working outside or in. I prefere the notitions of adventure. By lack of that using a magnifying-glass is a poor option. Just ideas Clive..! :) Cheers! (There is hardly any light on her already being darker than normal eye-white, so changing that is like glueing an envelope on a stamp instead of the stamp on the envelope. :) Link to comment
