russell lewis arps 0 Posted January 11, 2008 See that stool under the table? I've got one of those! Sorry, I know that's useless to you, but you don't see them here very often. Very nice color balance, by the way. Link to comment
vdp 12 Posted January 11, 2008 I like the fact that the drawings and the dog are all looking at the camera and all have similar expressions. Also the white of the dog, the mans shirt and the two drawings make like an arch bringing the whole work together. Link to comment

olafdevries 0 Posted January 11, 2008 Our blood isn't made for titanium coffee-shops on Mars. This is France! And Russel, our enjoying the shot and it's diffrent aspects is very far from useless! ;) With the older AF NIKKOR 70-210 1:4 I'm kneeling on the opposite of the street, the N7, crossing the town. I did ask (seldom doing that) permission for a shot of the dog, so relaxed the boss did continue his work. The next few minutes were mine. Haha.. later on a pretty lady brought him a chair for repair. Asking her, how many chairs would follow and if she wasn't coming for him.., was my biggest mistake during those French weeks. However, the whole scene, the atmosphere of that spot, was making me asking that. Just like idea's for romantic movies do start. During those eleven weeks about eleven (no not them!)persons did recieve my email-adress. Only two did respond.. Haha.. this duo also. The rest, maybe thinking I can't photograph, didn't react at all. So for spontanious streetshots isn't a market. :) I do confess I was rather confused by your reactions on this image. However, that being the reality, does mean I will " visit you all back..!" Russell.., Karl.., Mikel.., Michael.., R.., Vincent.., Ruud.., Claude.., Less Anneke.. (?) See you! Regards, Olaf. pnital 36 Posted April 23, 2008 Nice scene Olaf.good colors , dof and srory... and I forgot the dog.... adds a lot to the whole.( the lighted window? on the L side is attracting the eye from the scene, the composition is good without it as well. Link to comment
