... you've got serious color noise and HDR artifacting in the right and left vaults and on the bottom. Additionally, bottom center you've got some noise in the ogive vault (on the right lower center). You need to remove this noise to make the shot really excellent. This often happens when you have a very dark original which you combine with better exposed versions. Your tone mapping, however, is excellent and shows very good judgment. Please keep posting more of these images. If you are interested, Theo Jacobs has a wonderful presentation on churches and HDR. He does extremely fine work in this field.

... of course I scrutinized. And since it borders on my own primary field of inquiry (including HDR as a solution for the lighting problems in these churches), did so closely. Keep up the good work. Do you like PHotomatix?

Hello Tony and Dennis, I don't know much about HDR, but to me, the problem seems to be that one of the exposures looks to be a good bit out of alignment with the other two.....Now in the B&W version, the alignment looks to be perfect.....Jim
