You have told the complete story here. I think we know everything about this poor soul and the depth of despair he/she is in...truly without hope. Very fine image!

Once upon a time, that could have been me there in the corner alone & friendless, for I spent a few years on & off the streets struggling with alcoholism and other internal issues.

Although by some kind of miraculous situation I managed to find my way from that maze of madness, and although it was a long hard struggle I made it back and that is why I do the work I do.
