azenall 0 Posted December 16, 2007 Is it a Velazquez? View in larger, please. Thanks for all. Link to comment
jerrymat 5 Posted December 16, 2007 Interesting! Was this part of a stage play or was it a "staged" photograph? Link to comment
azenall 0 Posted December 16, 2007 Jerry, this picture, like the other 800, was taken during rehearsal theater for two sessions, but without "paralyze" the scene to make the picture. Link to comment
pepmir 0 Posted December 16, 2007 Una gran ejecucion Gerardo. La composicion y la luz son excelentes. Feliz Navidad. Link to comment
jkwiatkowski 0 Posted December 17, 2007 Great! Why? Because there is a story behind the visual layer. I love it. p.s. I've been away for a while. It's good to be back and see some really good photography here. Regards, Janusz Link to comment
Saludos y felices fiestas. Link to comment
ge_ma 0 Posted December 20, 2007 Autentico cuadro, colores, composition y luz estupendas. Saludos y felices fiestas: Gema. Link to comment

Ciao. Abrazos cordiales y muy agradecido por todo. Marco. Link to comment

Link to comment
davidorea 1 Posted December 22, 2007 Fantastica escena, Gerardo. Excelente toma! Saludos! Link to comment

Emmanuel Enyinwa 0 Posted January 29, 2008 Great metaphor for the leaders of the world sitting at the table carving up the resources of this world, while pretending to give a rat's ass about the rest of us. Link to comment
azenall 0 Posted January 29, 2008 Emmanuel, thanks for your comment. It seems to me a metaphor very successful, most bearing in mind that the play was written in the sixteenth century, which demonstrates that there is no premonition of the future but things have changed little from that time until now. pnital 36 Posted February 3, 2008 Very unusual theatre scene Gerardo, I like the composition( and theater in general), light, and colors, I wonder what is the name of this show? interesting what are they "cooking" in this pot ....;-)) Link to comment
azenall 0 Posted February 3, 2008 Pnina, It is a free adaptation of some "Pasos" by Lope de Rueda (1505-1565), made by "TEATRO DEL NORTE", (Etelvino Vazquez is your director) If you search on Internet, you will find a blog-site on this theater group and some interesting facts. This photo (and another 500 more), was taken during the last dress rehearsal before the premiere. Link to comment
