Poised?Retry

This is another attempt at the image I posted

before(Poised?).Again,any help is gratefully recieved.

If this were cropped into a vertical getting rid of the sides (especially the right) it would be much stronger and scarier.

definitely a much better image with the sleeper highlighted...brings back memories of old school B/W movie posters...i like it.

I like this one much better than the other one you posted. Love the open hand. It makes him look like he is dead already.

 

Should you put some red smears in to divert your eyes from the subjects? I myself don't typically like the injection of a spot of color in a black & white photo. It has become too cleiched and I have seen it done in too many bad photos (and this is not a bad photo).

 

If you wish to inject some color, may I suggest tinting the entire photo red.

Thanks for your help guys.I have taken note of the crop and red smudge advice,and I agree that the image is better when cropped and the smudges removed.This was one of those shots that I had the basic idea for,but I wasnt sure on how best to present it to give maximum impact.....all your advice has helped me a lot....thanks!
