This is a re-worked version of a photo I took and posted in late summer of a very neglected structure in a city park. The original is extremely underexposed (except for the light in the window, of course) so heavy PP was unavoidable. I'm pretty pleased with the result but the imagery seems more 'Christian' than I would have intended (since I'm not.)

Very interesting, and something that would be a big attraction for me and my camera. If this structure is still around you must get some more views of it for us to see!

Thanks Shawn! It is still around and I'm happy to report that the local historic preservation group is actively pursuing it's restoration. It apparently was a 'valve house' in the municipal water system. Amazing architecture for such a procaic function! This of course was back in the day when people looked to local government as a driver of community progress.

This was taken through a window behind a chain link fence (which, this time, I didn't include in the photo :>) There's another, less colorful, shot of the inside in my single photos folder and I'm attaching a shot of the outside. It might be fun to revisit--for one thing, I've acquired a wide angle lens since this shoot.

The re-working was necessitated because I shot and processed it in JPEG and I wanted to go back to re-do it in tif (and fewer versions) in order to minimize the loss in quality--not that you'd likely notice that here.

Hmmm, yeah, looking at that attachment, I can see I really do need to get back there and shoot some more.
