gordonjb 10,860 Posted December 12, 2007 Great shot. The near high key treatment looks terrific. I like the placement of the model in the frame. The focus falls off at the perfect point. The eyes are stunning as is the overall expression and feel. Although I like the hair coming into the corner of her right eye, that one strand that extends into her pupil is a bit annoying, I can't stop looking at it. Link to comment
corbin 0 Posted December 12, 2007 A mesmerizing portrait, and a great color treatment. Link to comment
sergey_lozovoy 0 Posted December 12, 2007 I think on this photo must be more colour. You should colour eyes in green or blue, it would be much better, i think. But without it, photo also looks very great. Link to comment
wogears 186 Posted December 12, 2007 No. Do NOT do the hokey trick of coloring just the eyes. That is, like, soooo 2006. This is wonderful as is, absolutely beautiful. Link to comment

emotive 0 Posted December 13, 2007 Hokey? Sergey made a beautiful image. The original image is excellent, but so is Sergey's version. Hardly Hokey: Creative suggestions like his are what make this website wonderful. Cheers. Link to comment
michaelhills 0 Posted December 13, 2007 Thank you, all :) I do love Maddy's incredibly expressive eyes and unique eye shape. I tried to keep toning and composition as simple as possible to complement her lovely expression. In regards to colouring eyes, I personally would not do it as it is not my creative style. However, I do respect Sergey's approach as well. Each to their own - and what a more wonderfully varied world of photography for it. Take it easy, folks and thank you for dropping by....
