rekaras 0 Posted December 11, 2007 I like this image a great deal. The comp, the colors, the subject matter and the light all combine for an attactive capture. The only distracting part is the lower blurred left corner wall. Otherwise very well seen and done. Sincerely, rek. Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted December 12, 2007 Salut Chris. Tu t'y verrais bien... en tant que pretre ? Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted December 12, 2007 Henri, I love the quality of the reflected light on the building & shutters. Unlike Richard, I'm not bothered by the out of focus foreground structure on the left, rather by it's distracting brightness. Selective toning down of this element would satisfy me, I think, and provide better balance with the bright area on the right. Cropping it out would cure this shortcoming but with resulting undesirable loss of depth. Best, LM. Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted December 12, 2007 Thank you Len. I would have liked avoid this parapet, but I was leant over it and if I had leant more I would have fall in the garden. I could not place my camera in the shade because there wasn't the good view point. I have already toned down the enlightened part. I think if I do more it will be very ugly. Link to comment
csj-marry 0 Posted December 17, 2007 Oui, pourquoi pas, faudrait un peu reformer l'eglise et quelques dogmes... mais why not ! :D Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted December 17, 2007 J'ai l'impression que tu la reformerais dans un sens qui commencerais a m'interesser mais je doute qu'on te laisse faire. Link to comment

carsten_ranke 0 Posted January 9, 2008 Love the light and colors, great motif. But the left side draws me off, I would crop there Link to comment
hanna_cowpe 0 Posted May 2, 2008 Henri, the light corner on the wall is a small price to pay for such an enchanting scene. I image it as a cat's eye view. I like the touches of colour in the branches on the tree, the doors and on the roof tiles. They carry the eye around the little scene and back to the wall. Link to comment
