Very nice composition, Linda. The nice pastels have a very calming effect. I also like the panoramic format.

Linda, I like the mixed vivid colors in the background. I thought that British Columbia has no harsh winter like other places in Canada (e.g. Quebec where I had got a very harsh winter 2 years ago). Nice lonely ancient cottage in this artistic photo. Regards.

Thank you gentlemen for your kind words. I appreciate it.

Eyad,

yes, the winters in Quebec are quite severe. Our winters here in the sounthern interior of B.C. are generally very mild, and don't last long. We usually only get a light dusting of snow, like icing sugar on a cake. Of course the weather is changing everywhere now. The west coast of B.C. is rain forest. It stays green all year round. They occasionally get a little bit of snow, and then all hell brakes lose, no one knows how to drive in it.

Very nice image! Even if you would expect the elements in this image to bring a sense of loneliness this image actually does the oposite. The title fits it perfectly! The colors are uplifting and fun. I like this image a lot. I find it very original!

I've long admired your work, Linda. So thank you for your generous rating on my Palouse photo......it got me back over here for another look. I tried to rate your 'Sunset Lingers' photo, but it wouldn't let me give 7's.....I'll try again later. In the meantime, this is also stunning light. I can literally 'feel' the cold crisp air. I love your bio, and we also have ties to Alberta.....my daughter married a guy from Calgary and they will be living there. So I feel part Canadian now. :-)
