Red Ibis June 17, 2006 (repost)

Stunningly beautiful capture of the well saturated Ibis. Especially the motion blur of the wings: just see the merging of background through them. The angle of diagonal stem working well against the body and direction of the Ibis. Delicious!

been looking at it for awhile as if hypnotized - gorgeous piece - draws me in big time and I know I could live with it happily and for a long while if I'd put it up on my wall.

but before I'd erase the moniker stamping a kind of corporate branding on the image; not only is it redundant but it contaminates the visual magic, intrudes on the viewing of the work.
