Matt Laur 2,201 Posted December 7, 2007 A cygnet's two feet. This one is definitely more interesting viewed larger. Thanks for looking and for comments. Link to comment
Not Here 93 Posted December 7, 2007 And a cygnet that is pigeon-toed is... cygnetdigitintoeing? :-) Funny shot! Link to comment
timkeller 0 Posted April 19, 2008 "Be kind to your web-footed friends for a duck may be somebody's mother." You probably know my fascination with the line between representation and abstraction: as you approach it with this image, my laughter is not far behind. Well seen! Link to comment
Matt Laur 2,201 Posted April 19, 2008 Thanks, Tim. While this doesn't stray quite into the territory of your many paint-and-corrosion wonderfulnesses, I see what you mean. I was captivated, here, by textures on the feet, and of course by this young swan's willingness to stand there while I did this (he was sure I was going to feed him some of the fine Italian leftovers in my bag). It's later that I realized, looking at this, how close these are to T-Rex foot prints. Link to comment
