adan1 0 Posted December 2, 2007 Dramatic and alluring composition. The use of the naked branches to frame the scene gives it a forebording feel. However, the light streaming from the sky and bathing the clouds with an intense burst of colors mesmerizes the viewer. It seems like heaven opens up and allows us a fleeting glimpse into it. skyjammer 0 Posted April 1, 2008 This is a great shot from corner to corner. The light in the distant sky is my favourite part, and the framing technique using the tree branches is a nice touch, and adds to the overall presentation of the capture. Nicely done, friend. -Ade Link to comment
amachado 2 Posted October 24, 2008 Wonderful and restrained colors, the branches in the foreground make the image. Alfredo Link to comment

billsymmons 0 Posted October 19, 2010 A different mood from your usual shots and very effective. The sky is awesome and framed beautifully by the lake and branches. All my best, Bill Link to comment
DGorinstein 20 Posted December 20, 2015 Simply astounding. Very, very hard to choose among your most excellent work. This however, grabbed my attention right away. The framing of the branches adds so much power and guidance to the viewer towards the "aurora borealis-like" movement of the clouds, enhanced by the woods at the bottom. Truly delightful.DG Link to comment
DGorinstein 20 Posted December 10, 2016 Dear Tony: Receiving comments from such an accomplished photographer humbles me and honor me. I thank you for the time you kindly take to look at my images, as your feedback not only makes me want to keep doing this, a hobby I thoroughly enjoy, and even more so, when by sharing it, it reaches critics of your caliber, directness and objectivity. Not having thanked you enough for your encouraging words, I now turn to this most striking photograph. Decomposing such a shocking (in the most positive sense) image to analyze its many edges and angles is tantamount to destroying its visual impact. The striking foreground hitting the observer in the face contrasted to a pastel-softness of the beautiful sky, masterful to say the least. I think I have said already too much, and only because of excitement. I should have stopped early on just to say how amazingly beautiful this composition is and savor the time to just let it richness and complexity to gradually sink in. Humbly, I have nothing else to say but congratulate you wholeheartedly. Best regards and best wishes for the Holidays and the New Year.DG Link to comment
