Hi. Thanks Rene'. No its not a trick photo! Taken with shutter priority mode with Panning. VR lens kept on active mode.

Its not tht only good equipments helps, u need gr8 Timing to catch such stuff. Luvly....

Birds in flight take very special skills to capture and you have done a fine job. I was at this location far too long ago and maybe one of these days I will save my pennies and return.

Your use of space on the right heightens the sense of forward motion here. I also like it that I get the feeling that the pelican is completely oblivious to the flock of birds on the ground...almost as if he's saying, "Ha ha...I'm flying while you're standing around on the ground."

I am just glad I have seen this. It certainly brought a smile to my face.
