Please rate this photo AND comment. I need direction from ALL photographers, not just the

professional ones. I REALLY want to get better at this.

Chad, I like the concept a lot. There's lots of storytelling going on here. A couple of quick thoughts: (1) I'd like to see the ring tack sharp going for softness in the ring before softness in the hands; and (2) The fabric in the bottom right corner is a bit distracting but I'm not sure of the solution to that. Simply removing it will leave a rather large and probably equally distracting negative space. Maybe change the camera position a little, showing more of the baby's thumb?

Thank you both for the compliments and the direction. Everything I'm learning about photography is self-taught. I don't have time or the money to take classes.
