Very straight photo, although excellent, technical speaking. From an aesthetical point it's also excellent. Looks like an old dutch painting. But the girlish look on one side and the slight hint to her breast leaves me ambivalent and uneasy.

My first impression was that of a Dutch painting too...and would love to see it in colour...An original portrait...intriguing and gripping...

Wonderful expressive portrait. I also would crop from the top. I would try to soften the white (oversharpened ? ) line of the vesture.

Among the hundreds of portraits I've seen, this stands out as one of the best.
